Assistant Technical Manager
Welshpool
Fixed term contract – 12 months
Up to £35k (DOE)
Monday to Friday – 37.5 hrs per week
We are currently working with a well-established FMCG manufacturing company based in Welshpool who are looking to recruit an Assistant Technical Manager to join them for a fixed term contract which is due to last for up to 12 months. Reporting into the Technical Manager, the assistant Technical Manager will be supporting the Technical and Quality Assurance team in ensuring food safety and quality and standards are met and adhered to.
The Assistant Technical Manager will be responsible for:
* Ensure that the Quality Systems and procedures are followed and maintained
* Maintain the QMS and HACCP systems involving writing procedures and updating risk assessments
* Support the Technical Manager with audits (customer and third-party)
* Support the export team with technical documents.
* Assist in investigations relating to customer complaint and/or plant related quality and safety queries
Skills and Experience required:
* Must have experience in a Technical role within the food manufacturing sector such as Technical Manager / Technical Assistant / Technical Coordinator
* Level 3 HACCP qualified
* Good knowledge of BRC standards and requirements
* Good knowledge of Compliance systems
