Overview
Your chance to join a thriving business, manufacturing food for the major UK retailers. They are the leading supplier in their sector. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic Technical team.
The Role
* Assist with adherence to customer requirements.
* Contribute to third party audits in order to help maintain key accreditations.
* Conduct Internal Audits.
* Deliver Technical training to the wider business.
* Be ‘seen’ in all areas of the site, including the growing and packing areas.
* Manage formulation and regulatory requirements alongside the team.
* Assist with adherence to customer requirements through the Q.A. Department.
* Help develop packing and packaging specifications, ensuring compliance with EU/UK
* legislation relating to food production, transport and sale.
* Work closely with Operations and the Senior management team.
They Candidate
* Excellent Technical knowledge and a strong background
* A track record of working effectively with internal & external stakeholders.
* Food manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of BRC.
* A good understanding of quality management systems.
* Intermediate or advanced HACCP.
