Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step in your career with a leading volume housebuilder
We are seeking a driven and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a flagship 200-unit residential development in Essex. Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality development safely, on programme, and to the highest standards.
The Role
As Assistant Site Manager, you'll support the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring trades are coordinated effectively and homes are delivered on time and to exceptional quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the day-to-day running of a busy residential development.
Supervising subcontractors and monitoring productivity and workmanship.
Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained at all times.
Carrying out quality inspections and snagging to ensure homes meet company standards.
Supporting build programmes and helping achieve key project milestones.
Managing site logistics and maintaining a clean, organised working environment.
Liaising with the Site Manager, Contracts Manager and other departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Promoting excellent customer satisfaction through quality-focused construction.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within a volume housebuilding environment.
A strong understanding of traditional and timber frame construction methods.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to motivate and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering quality homes.
SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain where required).
