Well established contractor with over 50 years of experience operating across East Anglia, with projects ranging from Commercial, Education, Industrial to Healthcare. Priding themselves on the projects they deliver resulting in repeat business from their clients.
Your new role
Reporting in to the Site Manager, they are now looking for a freelance Assistant Site Manager to support the project team on one of their schemes in Cambridge.The project itself is a £30m+ accommodation building with all associated external works and landscaping.
Duties to include:
Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme
Accept responsibility for such duties and responsibilities as the Site Manager may determine; in particular, as and when required, deputise for the Site Manager
Support the Site Manager, in ensuring that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the site's workload and resources
Ensure the quality of work delivered on site is to the highest standard
Ensuring that Health & Safety on site is adhered to at all times
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working in a similar role
CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid
