Assistant Site Manager - Industrial Project

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a major industrial project in the Portsmouth area.
Working alongside the existing site management team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of site operations, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out site inductions for operatives and visitors
Supporting the management of subcontractors on site
Monitoring health and safety compliance and site standards
Assisting with site inspections and quality checks
Maintaining site records and documentation
Coordinating deliveries and logistics
Ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
Supporting the Site Manager with general site administration and reportingRequirements:
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar
Experience on industrial, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or commercial construction projects
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work (preferred)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a busy project teamThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established project team on a significant industrial development and gain valuable experience on a large-scale construction scheme.
