Are you an Assistant Site Manager looking for security of work in the new build housing sector, with an ambition to further your career towards Site Management?

My client is a leading construction company - a multi-divisional group - with a specialist housing arm specialising in the development of new build affordable & social housing across Greater Manchester & the wider North West region.
Their new build housing division are particularly busy at the moment, given their long-standing established relationships with local authorities, housing associations, registered providers and built to rent investors delivering high-quality shared ownership, private rented homes, and affordable housing.

Job Description

My client is seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join their site teams, delivering schemes throughout Greater Manchester & the wider North West.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
Monitor site progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support the Site Manager in managing project budgets and schedules.
Assist with quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, promoting a positive working culture.Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role within the new build affordable housing sector.
Experience delivering projects in conjunction with & liaising with client representatives & clerk of works.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and regulations.
Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certificate and First Aid certification. Benefits
