Description:
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a nationwide Principal Contractor on a prestigious c.£15 million traditional-build care home project.
This is an excellent opportunity for an all-rounder Assistant Site Manager who is confident working across the full range of site management responsibilities and has a strong understanding of traditional construction methods and structures from start to finish.
The Role
Supporting the Site Manager and Contracts Manager with the day-to-day running of the project
Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
Monitoring quality, progress and health & safety
Assisting with programme management and short-term planning
Working closely with the commercial and design teams
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation
Helping drive the project through to successful completionAbout You
We're looking for someone with a solid construction background who has experience on traditional-build projects, ideally within the residential or care home sector. You should be comfortable overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from groundworks to handover.
