Assistant Site Manager – Commercial Project
Location: Norwich
Job Type: Temporary
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate / CIS Available
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy commercial construction project in Norwich on a temporary contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established main contractor on a fast-paced commercial development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work is completed safely and on schedule
* Monitoring health & safety procedures and maintaining site compliance
* Assisting with inductions, site paperwork, and progress reporting
* Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project
* Managing site logistics and deliveries
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on commercial projects
* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
* CSCS Card
* First Aid qualification preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
