Join our award-winning team as an Assistant Site Manager in our exciting new 150-unit timber frame development in Worthing. We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a knack for construction and a commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do:
* Support the Site Manager: Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring smooth workflows, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
* Team Leadership: Work closely with trades, contractors, and site staff to ensure the project is on track and aligns with the company's high standards.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with building regulations, company policies, and customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality throughout the construction process.
* Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety, conducting safety checks, and ensuring that all site personnel are adhering to safety guidelines.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including planning, design, and procurement, to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: Proven experience in construction, with a background in residential building projects. Experience with timber frame developments is a plus.
* Leadership Skills: Strong team management and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
* Organizational Abilities: Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field. CSCS card and SMSTS certification preferred.
