Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to develop your career with one of the UK's leading 5-star housebuilders
Our client, a prestigious volume housebuilder with an exceptional reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a flagship large-scale residential development in Lakenheath, Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced management team on a multi-phase housing scheme, gaining exposure to all aspects of site management while progressing towards a Site Manager position.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of a busy residential development, helping to ensure homes are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the management of subcontractors and site labour
Driving health & safety standards across the development
Coordinating trades to achieve build programmes and key deadlines
Conducting quality inspections and snagging activities
Supporting NHBC and Building Control inspections
Monitoring site presentation and housekeeping
Assisting with material management and deliveries
Ensuring plots are delivered to the highest customer service standards
Supporting the site team with handovers and completions
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding
Experience working for a volume housebuilder would be highly desirable
Strong understanding of traditional build construction methods
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Passion for delivering quality homes and customer satisfaction
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment
SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications preferred
