We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage 1st and 2nd fix activities on site.
* Ensure all handovers are completed to the highest standard.
* Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day operations of the site.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution of work.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Conduct site inspections and ensure all work meets the specified standards.
* Assist in the planning and scheduling of project timelines and resources.
* Maintain accurate records and reports of site activities and progress.
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in building care homes is essential.
* Proven track record of managing 1st and 2nd fix operations.
* Strong understanding of traditional build methods.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
