About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our team on an exciting 60-unit high-specification residential development in Enfield. Working alongside the Site Manager and Project Team, you will play a key role in delivering a quality-led scheme safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of workmanship.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager looking to progress their career with a reputable contractor delivering high-quality residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations.
Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved.
Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays.
Carry out quality inspections and snagging throughout the construction process.
Support the management of material deliveries, logistics, and site housekeeping.
Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and photographic evidence.
Ensure all works comply with building regulations, NHBC standards, and project specifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Finishing Foreman, or similar role within residential construction.
Experience delivering new-build housing or apartment schemes.
Good understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and quality control.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
Competent with Microsoft Office and site reporting systems.
A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.

SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
