Job Description:

We're in search of a capable and passionate assistant site manager to join our client's construction team. As an assistant site manager, you'll be under the supervision of their site manager, contributing to new projects in London.

Responsibilities:

Report to the site manager or other senior project managers as needed.

Oversee on-site construction activities and relay instructions from senior management.

Develop work schedules and sequence tasks on-site.

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.

Ability to oversee construction project budgets and deadlines.

Work closely with subcontractors and clients.

Proven experience in meeting deadlines.

Familiarity with safety regulations in the construction industry.

Strong communication skills.

What are we seeking?

This Assistant Site Manager position is ideal for individuals who possess:

A relevant Construction/Civil Engineering Qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ) 

SMSTS 

CSCS Card

First Aid training

What you'll need:

To excel in this role, we seek individuals with:

Experience working within established build programs.

Assertiveness to ensure the on-site team and trades/labour deliver targets.

Ability to prioritise tasks to meet evolving business needs.

Membership in the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or qualification to NVQ level in Construction Management, or extensive experience as a time-served tradesman across various construction trades.

Profound understanding of all facets of the construction trade and relevant legislative requirements such as Health and Safety.

Strong knowledge, comprehension, and experience in handling issues related to Customer Service
