Assistant Site Manager – Exeter
An exciting position as an Assistant Site Manager is now available with an award-winning main contractor on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to be involved in a diverse range of projects, from regeneration and historic buildings to restoration works and new build high rise accommodation. An excellent opportunity for career advancement awaits!
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the project team to support with project requirements including administration
Assist the site team in the management of all direct labour
Support with procurement and ordering of materials
Ensuring work is carried out in compliance with company safety policies as well as HSE Regulations
Arrange/attend meetings on site with the sub-contractors
Manage external packages and trades
Maintain the highest standard of site presentation at all times
Deliver quality inductions to all sub-contractors
Ensure that all materials are checked for damage and that they meet the required quality standards
Requirements:
SSSTS or SMSTS
CSCS card
First Aid at Work desirable
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
UK driving licence
Construction related qualification desirable
Relevant UK driving licence
