Description:
A UK-based construction consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a barn conversion project in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their site management career while working on a high-quality heritage conversion. We are open to both temporary and permanent applicants.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project.
* Support the coordination of subcontractors and site activities.
* Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
* Monitor quality and maintain project documentation.
* Help enforce health and safety procedures on site.
* Liaise with trades, suppliers, and the client team as required.
* Assist with progress reporting and programme updates.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a construction supervisory or assistant site management role.
* Knowledge of residential or refurbishment/conversion projects is advantageous.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
* SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
* Full UK driving licence.
