Time 4 Recruitment have a great long term temporary opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager based at Bristol Airport working for a very well established and award winning construction company who work on projects across the South West of England and Wales
This client is synonymous with forward thinking in its approach, quality and product finish working within strict budget and time frame.
As Assistant Site Manager you will be supporting the site manager as main contractor on a new executive lounge suite at Bristol Airport.
This is a temporary role, which could become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate for this role with be from a logistics background with a focus on IT Tech , plus health safety !!!
Your main role as Assistant Site Manager will be to support the site manager ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs whilst liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public.
Key responsibilities:
* Assists the site manager and supervisor with day to day running of the site.
* Supervising all labourer and visitors on site.
* Overseeing the Logistics on site.
* Liaising with main contractors and sub-contractors on site.
* Ensuring the package is on time against programme
* Ensure the Site team adhere to H & S Compliance.
* Ensure the Site team adhere to the high quality of works to meet the clients’ demands.
* Ensuring the safety of all site personnel
* Productivity of Site staff
Skills and Experience
* Previous Assistant Site Manager experience with fit out and refurbishments projects.
* Previous experience in logistics
* Essential you have excellent IT skills for this role.
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* Holds valid CSCS card
* Valid First Aid certificate
