Heritage PS Talent Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Assistant service Manager to work with our well established Automotive Retail client in Leicester on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Service manager. We are ideally looking for an experienced Assistant Service Manager or someone that is a seasoned and experienced Service Advisor/ Senior Service Advisor within the automotive industry that is looking to take a step up and move into a more senior role.

Main duties of the Assistant service Manager:

Providing support to the Service Manager
Coordinate and allocate repair and maintenance work to the team
Monitor work in progress and ensure timely completion, working towards departmental KPI's that have been set.
Motivate and encourage team members to achieve productivity and quality targets, this includes hitting the Workshop efficiency against budget.
Liaise with customers to provide updates on their vehicle's status
Ensure the workshop adheres to safety and environmental guidelines.
Assist with problem-solving and provide technical guidance when needed
Maintain comprehensive records of work and inventoryRequirements of the Assistant service Manager:

Proven experience in a Workshop Controller / Assistant Service Manager role.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong organisational and scheduling abilities
Ability to motivate and push team members to achieve exceptional results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits of the Assistant service Manager:

Salary up to £35,700 - OTE £40,700
