Shiftwork patterns 5 days over 7. Food service - Mon-Sat (Apply online only) and (Apply online only), Sunday (Apply online only)

40 - 45 hours per week

Burgess Hill area. Plenty of free parking on site. It is essential to be able to drive and have your own vehicle for this role - due to rural location of the restaurant

Salary: £25000-£30000 - plus very good company benefits. Share of the tips will take the salary to £32000-£37000 per year. Tips are paid weekly.

We are delighted to be working alongside our established and very reputable client as they seek to recruit an Assistant Manager on a full time permanent basis, to join their talented team. My client have a freshly made Rosette standard seasonal menu, which is key to their business. It features modern British cuisine that combines the classics alongside more contemporary dishes. They also run specials which change daily.

In addition to this they also cater for large group bookings, weddings, and buffets so there is always plenty of variety.

We are seeking an experienced assistant manager to work closely with the manager to provide the customers with a memorable experience.

You can also be involved in other areas of the business including driving the business forward through creating adverts, bringing positive ideas forward and putting them into practice.

The role and duties:

* You'll be ensuring that standards of food and service are consistently excellent

* You'll be responsible for training and inspiring a large team, First and last impressions count and it'll be your job to ensure that customers leave with the right one

* Understanding great customer service

* Responsible for taking orders & making recommendations

* Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health & safety standards

* Assisting management in driving sales

* Providing guests with excellent customer service

* Act as a final check on quality & standard of all aspects of the business

* Learning many aspects of running the business

* Coordinating small & large events
