Quantity Surveyors & Assistant / Newly Qualified Quantity Surveyors
Working on long term, complex, high profile infrastructure programmes in NI, which make a big difference.
Working for a high growth company, which has the potential to double in size over the next 3 years, based both on their strong client relationships and future IoI framework contracts.
Genuine opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Quantity Surveyors to gain commercially valuable experience, working on projects cradle to grave.
Aspects of the role:
Support and manage programmes of work (from £5 million - £25 million), from programme commencement right through to completion. Providing all commercial deliverables in line with the contract requirements and timescales.
You will build, nurture, and manage collaborative relationships with customer’s and sub-contractors as part of the programmes supply chain. Managing all commercial aspects and hold regular meetings to review and resolve commercial issues.
Attend project meetings with the client, preparing appropriate reporting & information to assist in maximising commercial opportunities and minimising risks.
Manage tasks including, cost control, cash collection, change control, contract close-out/final account etc.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home. Comes with a generous package (8% matched pension, share scheme, payment of professional fees, flexible working, hybrid working).
Both AQS & QS need to have BSc (hons) in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualification.
Essential experience for experienced Quantity Surveyor:
Experienced Quantity Surveyor.
Experienced in NEC contract management.
Experienced in delivering contracts with value up to £5m.
Effective communicator (written and verbal) and experience in negotiation.
Evidence of continuing professional development.
