Force Contracting Services are a very well-established and successful family-run Civil Engineering Contractor based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. We specialise in Utilities (substations/power generation), Rail, Nuclear, and Property Development. We have experienced a period of sustained growth and several exciting new project wins, hence we are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a permanent basis.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in our projects by assisting in cost estimation, budget management, and overall financial control.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assisting in preparing tender and contract documents.
* Conducting cost analysis and preparing reports.
* Assisting in project cost monitoring and control.
* Collaborating with project teams to ensure cost efficiency.
* Supporting the commercial teams in various tasks.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications.
