Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Bristol
Join a leading regional contractor delivering a diverse range of reactive maintenance and minor works projects through long-term framework agreements. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their commercial skills within a supportive team environment.
The Role:
* Assisting with tender preparation, valuations, variations and final accounts
* Supporting the commercial team in delivering framework and minor works projects
* Carrying out site measurements and monitoring project progress
* Preparing applications for payment and subcontractor valuations
* Maintaining accurate site records and commercial documentation
* Attending site and subcontractor meetings
* Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance and minimise risk
* Supporting CVR reporting and commercial strategy implementation
About You:
* Degree completed or currently studying Quantity Surveying, or HNC/HND qualified
* Some Quantity Surveying experience within construction, maintenance or minor works
* Understanding of measurement and commercial processes
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Commercially aware with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
