Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Planned Maintenance
* Salary up to £45k + package
* Location - Bromley
* Hybrid: 1 day WFH after probation
About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-owned construction and property group operating across London and the South East. Established in 1998, they deliver residential, commercial, refurbishment, planned maintenance and regeneration projects across the public and private sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team at their Bromley head office.
The Role
Working alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of planned maintenance, refurbishment and construction projects from start to completion.
Key responsibilities include
* Assisting with project budgets, cost reports and forecasts.
* Supporting subcontractor procurement and quotation analysis.
* Assisting with valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
* Monitoring project costs and commercial risks.
* Maintaining accurate cost records and preparing reports.
* Liaising with Project Managers, site teams and subcontractors.
About You
* Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or in a construction commercial role.
* Experience or an interest in planned maintenance or refurbishment.
* Understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
* Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Working towards, or holding, a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.

* £40,000–£45,000 + package, depending on experience.
* Bromley-based head office.
* 1 day WFH after probation.
