My client are a north west leading, specialist interiors sub-contractor providing expertise across all aspects of dry lining, plastering, flooring, ceilings, rendering, steel framing systems, and fire protection services.
They have worked alongside a number of leading main contractors and developers, gaining an excellent reputation for delivering high quality projects across predominantly the commercial and high-rise apartments / student accommodation sectors, with subcontract values of up to £5m.
They are growing as a business and with a range of exciting new projects secured, they are looking for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with an experienced commercial team on a range of large projects across the Manchester and surrounding areas.
Duties to include:
Working on a range of plastering and drylining / interiors projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
Assisting with reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
Assist in evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes.
Developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
Aid in conducting estimation tasks to ensure accurate project cost predictions.Benefits:
