Key Assistant Quantity Surveyor role must have's
* Basic knowledge of construction and an eagerness to develop skills further
* Ability to integrate with architects, engineers and clients to ensure project success
* Desire to progress and develop higher up the construction ladder
* Excellent problem solving skills to create solutions to challenges provided
* Good teamwork where you will be working in a busy site team and help to get the project through to completion

* Review costs of proposed projects
* Advise and communicate on potential alternative costs solutions
* Provide advice on contract arrangements and conditions under which works will be done
* Communicate and engage on the cost implications of different construction methods
* Assist with the preparation of the tendering documentation
* Assist the management of the costs associated with project lifecycle of the construction stages
* Take part in client meetings, communicating with parties involved with the projects
Key must have’s you should have as the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor
* HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or coming to the end of Degree
* 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Trainee Quantity Surveyor role
* Driving Licence
* Happy to travel to sites and to be office based
