Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Description:

Our client, a Main Contractor, based in Hereford are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them, on a full-time permanent basis. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be working alongside a senior member of the team, managing works from initial enquiry & tender stage through to final account and handover. Projects include; commercial, heritage and bespoke residential works, ranging from £10k to £3M+. This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse business and gain exposure to a range of projects and construction methods.

Working from tender stage through to final account
Full array of estimating and quantity surveying duties
Assisting with estimating and cost planning

Tender document preparation and reporting

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

Prior experience working as an AQS or Estimator (not essential / open to graduates)
Hold a relevant qualification in Construction / Quantity Surveying
Full driving licence
Based within commuting distance of Hereford
Full right to work in the UK without any form of sponsorship
