Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - £10+ Million New Build project
Summary:
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor is responsible for providing administrative support to the Quantity Surveying team. This includes preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, and monitoring project expenses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction costs and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
* Manage budgets and track project expenses
* Monitor the progress of construction projects
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers
* Prepare reports and presentations
* Other duties as assigned
Ideal Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field
* 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry
* Strong understanding of construction costs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
