The Company
Our client is an Award-Winning, Luxury new build & refurbishment Contractor, including complex structural work, cut & carve façade retention, and triple basements, followed by all levels of fit-out, including prime residential.
They are involved in super prime residential developments, 5* hotel fit-outs, Michelin-star restaurants, premium retail, museums, plus much more. They have gained an extreme amount of repeat business over the last several years but are also regularly obtaining brand-new clients and expanding their customer base every day.
Due to several brand-new projects, they are now looking to bring in a new Assistant Quantity Surveyor, someone who can become a key part of their growth over the next few years. They have a team of some of the best staff in the industry and are always looking to add top-quality candidates to that.
The initial project that the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be supporting is a £20m mixed-use development in Central London (consisting of 37 flats and a restaurant).

The role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Overall responsibility for the delivery of the project.
Regular travel to sites across the UK.
Calculate all the prime costs on developments within the business.
Deal with valuations & payment notices.
Provide a detailed cost budget plan and share it with the site team.
Maintain schedules of quantities and price them for the prime cost budget.
Prepare estimates of all costs including sub-contractors & materials.
To be successful as Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will need to possess the following:
3+ years’ experience working with a Main Contractor
Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
Ambitious & Driven!
