Description:
Our client, a prominent player in the water business sector, is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (SEW) to join their team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work closely under a Senior Project Manager, focusing on significant projects within the water industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Senior Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Managing project milestones and deliverables in the areas of Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, and Civil disciplines.
Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
Overseeing project documentation and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
Providing technical input and coordinating activities related to MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) works.
Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to report on project progress and resolve issues.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all project stages.
Identifying opportunities for project scope and process improvements.
Job Requirements:
Experience in the water sector, with a strong understanding of Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering aspects.
Proficient in managing multiple disciplines, ideally with a background in MEICA and Civil works.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and leadership skills to manage team dynamics and stakeholder relations.
Ability to work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager and demonstrate progression capability.
Understanding of health and safety regulations within the industry.
