Description:

A prestigious Tier 1 main contractor, who currently have numerous residential and commercial projects throughout London ranging from values of £100M - £250M, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager.
Assistant Project Manager who has the ambition, qualifications and characteristics to take the lead on a £2 million commercial development in Chelsea.
Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities;
* Ensure that the programmed dates are achieved for individual plots and sites as a whole.
* Programme and schedule work in liaison with the Construction Director and other team members and closely monitor these programmes
* Ensure Site Managers have a proper understanding of the construction programme dates and are managed to maintain the construction programme.
* Liaise with Statutory Authorities to ensure all inspections are completed and all service connections completed in accordance with the construction programme
* Ensure that all works are constructed to the highest standard of quality
* Assess the quality of work at all stages of construction and ensure that all Contractors and suppliers are capable of achieving the required/specified standards
The ideal Assistant Project Manager must have the following;
* Over four year’s management experience
* Engineering experience is essential
* Professional qualification in Engineering essential
* Able to demonstrated delivering projects on time and on budget
* An effective leader, motivator and mentor
* Credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
* Ideally, the successful candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent
