Are you a recent graduate, due to graduate soon, or have 1-2 years of construction experience and want a genuine pathway into Project Management?
Our client is a successful family-run construction business delivering high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. Their work spans hotels, bars, restaurants, leisure facilities, holiday parks and other prestigious hospitality environments, creating exciting, fast-paced projects from concept through to completion.
This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, with a previous Assistant Project Manager progressing into a full Project Manager role after just two years within the business. That commitment to developing and promoting talent is at the heart of Myriad's culture.
Working directly alongside the Director of Operations, you'll receive hands-on mentoring, exposure to every aspect of project delivery, and a clear route towards becoming a Project Manager.

The Role
This is a varied and fast-moving position where you'll support the successful delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK.
You'll split your time between the Blackpool office and project sites, gaining valuable experience across all stages of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing projects from pre-construction through to handover
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
Maintain project documentation and reporting
Support procurement activities and material ordering
Monitor project programmes, milestones and deadlines
Track project costs, budgets and payments
Attend client, contractor and site meetings
Help coordinate designs and resolve construction issues
Monitor quality standards and health & safety compliance
Manage project changes, delays and unforeseen challenges
Support snagging activities and final project handovers
Learn all aspects of project delivery with the aim of progressing into a Project Manager role
Projects You'll Be Involved In
Projects typically include:
High-end hospitality fit-outs

Holiday parks and visitor attractions
Refurbishment and upgrade projects
Live and occupied environments
Key project elements include:
Bespoke joinery and specialist finishes
Flooring, tiling and decorative works
Mechanical and electrical installations
Lighting and AV systems
Gym and leisure equipment installations
Commercial kitchens and catering equipment
Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)
Pools, saunas, steam rooms and treatment facilities
Fast-track programmes and phased handovers
What We're Looking For
We are keen to speak with individuals who have:
Essential
Construction-related degree (completed or nearing completion) OR
1-2 years' experience in a construction, fit-out or project coordination role
Strong organisation and communication skills
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Full UK driving licence or willingness to travel nationally
Desirable
Experience within fit-out, refurbishment or interiors projects
Exposure to subcontractor management
Understanding of construction programmes and project delivery
Knowledge of hospitality, leisure or commercial refurbishment projects
Candidates from Assistant Project Management, Graduate Construction Management, Assistant Quantity Surveying, Site Coordination or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
