ROLE: Assistant Project Manager
LOCATION: Doncaster
Day Rate: £200-£230 DOE
BACKGROUND: CIVIL ENGINEERING
Reports To:
Project Manager - Civil Engineering
Role Purpose
Support the Project Manager in delivering the Civil Engineering package for a large scale Civil Engineering package, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support delivery of civil engineering works including earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, drainage, roads and fencing.
Monitor programme, cost, quality and contractor performance.
Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and client representatives.
Assist with planning, progress reporting and risk management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Review drawings, technical queries, method statements and construction documentation.
Support commercial activities including variations, procurement and payment assessments.
Attend site meetings and maintain accurate project records.
