Description:
Force Contracting Services are a very well-established and successful family-run Civil Engineering Contractor based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. We specialise in Utilities (substations/power generation), Rail, Nuclear, and Property Development. We have experienced a period of sustained growth and several exciting new project wins, hence we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
We currently have projects in various locations across the country such as Teesside, Buckinghamshire, Greater London, and Scotland, so there will be a requirement to travel and stay away, but all transport and accommodation will be provided.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assisting the project manager in day-to-day management of site staff, issues arising from sites and design teams.
* Producing/assisting with project report for issue to client on a weekly and monthly basis and to report on project progress and performance.
* Maintaining and developing excellent client relationships
* Take minutes during project meetings
* Input into the development and implementation of safety documentation including Health and Safety Plans and Risk Assessments
* Assist in monitoring the performance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
* UK Driving Licence
