Labour Hire Solutions are looking for an experienced PROJECT MANAGER for a well-established company in LONDON

This is a full-time, permanent position with NO agency probation period.

Location: London, UK (with primary focus on the London Underground / TfL projects)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer with 2-3 years of experience in a Tier 1 contractor environment, looking to transition into a more management-focused position. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring project documentation, quality assurance, and commercial planning are meticulously maintained and executed.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Documentation:

* Prepare and manage Work Package Plans (WPPs) and Method Statements.

* Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Quality Assurance:

* Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) plans and procedures.

* Conduct regular QA inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

* Maintain QA records and ensure any non-conformities are addressed promptly.

Commercial Planning:

* Assist in the preparation of commercial lookaheads and forecasts.

* Monitor project budgets and costs, providing regular updates to senior management.

* Support the commercial team with contract administration and change management processes.

Stakeholder Communication:

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

* Prepare and deliver project progress reports to stakeholders.

*

Health and Safety:

* Promote a strong health and safety culture within the project team.

* Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

* 2-3 years of experience working with a Tier 1 contractor.

* Proven experience in project management, with a focus on documentation, QA, and commercial planning.

* Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles, particularly in the context of civils and MEP works.

* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
