Description:
My client has been established for over 20 years and initially started life as a stone masonry specialist and over the years have progressed into being a fully-fledged main contractor specialising in restoration and refurbishments of well-known landmark buildings in London. They have since established various divisions within the business that cater for their diverse client base. I am currently working with the London division which contributes the largest proportion of the company’s turnover and profitability. Projects will typically range between £500,000 to £6m as an average however they have a number of larger projects currently on site. My client prides themselves not only on finishing all of their projects to the highest possible standard but also building up strong and long-lasting relationships with everyone they work with including the end user, client professional team and supply chain. Off the back of this model they negotiate a large proportion of their work. This is an exciting time for my client, their portfolio of projects is growing as well as the profile of the work undertaken their reputation. Anyone who joins this business is given the opportunity to develop and progress their career. They have an excellent track record and blueprint of bringing people through the business, with several their senior managers and directors initially starting with the business at a junior level before climbing the ranks. Development is measured with targeted progression plans, training on the job as well supplementary professional qualifications and charterships. In an uncertain market this contractor offers stability and continuity. They are profitable and cash rich business with a very low churn rate of staff.
