We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor / Team Leader / Assistant Production Manager to join our food manufacturing operation in Bridlington.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous supervisory or management experience within a food manufacturing environment who is looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective running of the night shift, leading a production team and ensuring that production, quality, food safety and health & safety standards are consistently maintained.
For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Shift Manager position, with increased responsibility and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the production team throughout the night shift.
*
Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
*
Manage day-to-day staffing, performance and team requirements.
*
Ensure all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed.
*
Monitor production performance and address issues effectively.
*
Complete production paperwork, records and KPI information.
*
Support staff training, development and performance management.
*
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Warehouse and other departments.
*
Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
*
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and GMP.
*
Promote a positive, safe and productive working environment.
*
Take ownership of the smooth running of the production operation during the night shift.
About You
We are looking for a confident and motivated individual with previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
You may currently be working as a Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, Section Leader or Junior Production Manager and be looking for the next step in your career.
Essential Experience & Qualifications

Previous supervisory or management experience within food manufacturing.
*
Relevant food manufacturing qualifications and/or training.
*
Must have Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety
