Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading company within environmental services to recruit an Assistant Plant Operator for its Gloucestershire EFW site.
The strategically important Assistant Plant Operator role comes with a salary of £36,000 with Pension

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader you will:
Assist with the routine operations and testing of plant systems.
Operation of overhead gantry cranes and mobile plant.
Undertake plant walk downs and inspections, ensuring efficient plant operations.
Record and log all plant findings including defect reporting.
Understand and comply with all H&S policies and procedures.
Provide shift cover where needed.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Knowledge of environmental permits, H&S Issues & safety rules
Practical skills, including basic mechanical fitting or mobile plant operation.
Personal skills
The Assistant Plant Operator role would suit someone who is:
Excellent with planning and attention to detail
Computer literate.
Self-motivated.
