Assistant Planner
Location: Walsall
Red Sky Personnel is recruiting for an Assistant Planner to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure company.
Role:
Support the Senior Planner in project planning from start to finish
Maintain planning standards and control procedures
Create and manage short-term project schedules
Prepare progress reports and variance analysis
Participate in project meetings on scheduling and resource allocation
Work on up to 8 live construction projects, each valued up to £5m
Requirements:
Experience in construction sequencing and project delivery
Computer literacy and willingness to learn planning software
Beneficial: Experience with Primavera P6, AstaPower, Microsoft Project, and NEC contracts
Construction-related qualification preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs
