Due to high demand, our client, a prestigious 5-star rated automotive company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with MOT testing certification, capable of advancing within the company. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to progress in their management career.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Support: Provide hands-on support to technicians, fitters, mechanics, and MOT testers in the workshop.
Leadership: Mentor and guide the team, ensuring excellent customer service while driving sales.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers at the reception and over the phone.
Administration: Update stock systems, reconcile cash/credit sales, and ensure adherence to work practices and quality procedures.
Compliance: Reinforce company policies, standards, and health and safety regulations.
Team Management: Set objectives for the team, manage their performance, and oversee bonus earnings.
Skills and Experience:
Tyre Fitting: Required experience in tyre fitting.
Mechanical Knowledge: Essential mechanical knowledge.
Driving: A valid driving licence is required.
Leadership Experience: Experience as a team leader with mentoring capabilities.
