Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized front end area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and sanitation
-manage a team of staff to run a efficient friendly pub day to day whilst supporting the kitchen team
-lead by example with a positive can do attitude, motivating staff and solving problems
-assist in day to day admin
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary or food preparation is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in a restaurant, kitchen, hotel, or similar environment is beneficial
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills are desirable
As the assistant manager, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front end of the pub. Your friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team will contribute to the overall success of our business.
Please note that this position may require standing for extended periods of time and occasional lifting of heavy items. Additionally, candidates must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings.
