Assistant Management Accountant
Great Yarmouth
On-site working
8:30-5pm, 4:30pm finish on Friday's
Working with a hugely successful and progressive business, this role will work alongside a great team of people.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will involve the following tasks:
Cash Flow Management: Prepare and deliver accurate weekly cash flow models
Financial Statements: Collaborate with the Management Accountant to produce monthly financial statements, including generating reports and completing balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare journals including prepayments, accruals, fixed asset depreciation, and foreign exchange revaluations, ensuring accuracy and minimising reconciliation discrepancies
Audit Preparation: Ensure audit readiness by maintaining detailed supporting documentation for all postings, contributing to a successful year-end audit
Produce weekly revenue reports
Assist with VAT processes
Bank Reconciliations
Cost Analysis
About You:
Previous experience in an accounting/finance support role (part-qualified or studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA desirable).
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Proficient in Excel and financial systems, with the ability to analyse and interpret data.What they Offer :
