IN2Consult are partnering with a high end, European media & retail company who are on the lookout for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This is a really exciting opportunity that offers fantastic progression & the chance to take on new responsibilities. This is an office based role (to help with personal development) that can offer up to £36,000 pa & a full study support package. Please see below the responsibilities & skills required -
Job Duties:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Responsibilities for transactional finance processes
Suggest process improvements and implement them where possible
Support the Management Accountant in budgeting and forecasting activities
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance
Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes
Required Qualifications:
AAT qualification or equivalent
Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practises
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
Beneficial Skills:
Excellent level of communication
Strong desire to progress & learn
Ability to self analyse & improve
Ability to work independently
Fast learner
