An exciting new opportunity has become available within the group finance department of a progressive and expanding organization based in Horwich. 

This Assistant Management Accountant role, which has become available from an internal promotion, is a great opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in finance.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience & thrive in a changing environment. This is a role suitable for someone wishing to learn & progress.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

Assistance with the preparation of month end management accounts
Assistance with the preparation of month end P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
Raising monthly manual invoices
Supporting our Finance Assistant with the recognition of daily revenue and cost of sales
Assisting with auditor queries and requests where required
 
Required Skills & Experience:

Studying towards accounting qualifications (AAT or early stages of CIMA/ ACCA).
Good Excel skills, with a passion for developing this further
Highly organised, self-motivated, enthusiastic personality

Excellent communication & team working skills

Package & Benefits:

Salary of £25-26k per annum
Study support towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA
Some allowance to work from home after probation (non-contractual)
22 days holidays plus Birthday and bank holidays. Rising to 23 after 1 year, 24 after 2 years and 25 after 3 years
