Description:
Are you a very Ambitious Part Qualified Management Accountant? I am looking for an individual that wants to join a fast paced, well established privately owned business in Greater Manchester.
Reporting to the Financial controller, the role will be responsible for:
* Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
* Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
* Sales and margin analysis.
* Variance analysis and reporting against budgets, forecasts and prior periods.
* Control of AR and AP ledgers and support functions, overseeing weekly payment requests.
* Assist with the budget and forecast process.
* Manage the annual audit process, and ensure it runs smoothly and to time.
* Implement, standardise and improve financial reporting and controls.
Key Skills
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices with at least 2 years gained in a similar role in a fast paced environment and ideally studying towards ACCA/CIMA
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Advanced Microsoft excel skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Disciplined to meet deadlines while maintaining controls.
* Passionate and can-do collaborative attitude.
* Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
