Assistant Management Accountant
Job type: Permanent
Location: Rural Penrith (Transport needed)
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000
Hours: Part Time, 3 full days
NXT are working with a well-established business based in a glorious location with on-site free parking in south of Penrith. Working as part of the accounts team the Assistant Manager Accountant will be tasked with a variety of duties such as payroll processing, creating and analysing account reports and liaising with the board. You will be able to work independently, ensuring all account duties are complete to a high standard and confidently present the reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing financial reports
* CIS checks and processing and submission to HMRC
* Manage payroll such as timesheets and wages using Sage
* Providing accounting support
* Identifying discrepancies in finances
* Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
* Communicate reports and budgets to the board
* Invoicing, processing and filing
Skills and Experience
* AAT Qualified desirable
* Sage payroll experience
* Strong communication skills
* Microsoft and Office 365 skills
* Methodical and organised thinker
