They currently have an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Assistant Maintenance Manager.
The Role
As an Assistant Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent customer care.
An Assistant Maintenance Manager would also be required to follow all company statutory and legal regulatory requirements during repairs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Co-ordinate all maintenance tasks, supervise, delegate and prioritize duties to ensure the smooth running of the department and the hotel.
* To ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed as well as Hotel compliance.
* First point of contact for any queries from other departments, suppliers and contractors.
* Assisting Maintenance Manager with any ad-hoc projects and act in his absence.
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Maintenance Manager position should:
* Have experience in a maintenance role ideally within a hotel or similar building with bedrooms and public areas
* Have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements relating to the upkeep of such a building
* Have the ability to work in a busy environment
* Be flexible
* Be a good team player with excellent communication skills
* Have good attention to detail and quality
