This is an excellent opportunity for a successful Senior Lettings Negotiator or an existing Assistant Lettings Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to win new business, support a team and play a key role in the branch's success.
You'll work closely with the Lettings Manager, helping drive performance, build relationships with landlords and grow the lettings portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct market appraisals and win new lettings and property management instructions.
* Develop relationships with landlords, applicants and prospective clients.
* Identify opportunities to win instructions from competing agents.
* Support, motivate and coach the lettings team to achieve individual and branch targets.
* Lead morning meetings and oversee the office when required.
* Monitor team performance, including viewings, offers, registrations and new business activity.
* Conduct property viewings, match applicants to suitable properties and negotiate offers.
* Keep landlords informed throughout the marketing and lettings process.
* Manage tenancy progression, referencing and compliance.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with current lettings legislation, including Right to Rent requirements.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience within residential lettings.
* A proven track record of winning new business and conducting market appraisals.
* Experience supporting, mentoring or managing a lettings team.
* Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
* A commercially minded, target-driven approach.
* Good knowledge of the local lettings market and relevant legislation.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
* A professional, positive and customer-focused attitude.
* A full UK driving licence and your own car are essential.
Salary & Benefits

* Birthday leave.
* Employee assistance programme.
* Health cash plan.
* Eye care contributions and annual flu vaccination vouchers.
* Charity matching and payroll giving.
If you're an ambitious lettings professional looking for a role where you can develop your leadership skills, win new business and make a real impact within a busy branch, I'd love to hear from you
