Assistant-Intermediate Building Surveyor
London | Hybrid Working | Salary up to £45k

Looking to take the next step in your Building Surveying career with a consultancy that offers genuine variety, responsibility and support?

We're working with a well-established and highly respected building consultancy that's looking to add an Assistant Building Surveyor to its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone working towards their APC, or a newly qualified Building Surveyor, to gain exposure to a broad range of private sector projects while working alongside experienced professionals.

You'll be joining a close-knit team where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, develop your technical skills and build towards chartership in a supportive environment.

The Role
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, laboratory and high-end residential properties, supporting senior surveyors while developing your own client relationships and project experience.

Typical responsibilities include:

Producing photographic schedules of condition
Carrying out dilapidations instructions
Undertaking site inspections and snagging surveys
Assisting with building surveys and technical reporting
Supporting contract administration duties
Assisting with project management on multi-million-pound refurbishment and maintenance schemes.
Liaising with clients, contractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycleAbout You
We're keen to speak with Building Surveyors who have:

Experience within a private sector commercial consultancy
Exposure to schedules of condition, dilapidations, inspections and contract administration
Newly MRICS qualified or working towards it
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to manage their workload independently while contributing to a collaborative team environmentWhat's on Offer?
