Full time or Part time (Full time is 37 hours per week)

We’re looking for enthusiastic Assistant Human Resources Advisers to join our newly formed Policy, Reward and Relations team. You will undertake an exciting and varied role, assisting the team to provide a high-quality, effective and efficient HR service through a range of business as usual and transformational activities.

Delivering against our People Strategy, you will be supporting activities under the Reward, Voice and Belonging themes and will work with colleagues to contribute to the wider themes. You will work closely with the Advisers across the team to support efficient delivery of our services. You will have responsibility for essential activity, including benchmarking, updating policies, maintaining our job library and policy schedule, co-ordination of job evaluation panels and corporate meetings with our Trade Unions. You will play a critical role in researching current and emerging trends, ensuring the team are aware of changes to legislation and supporting the analysis of data to inform areas of development and statutory reporting.

Who you are
We are looking for candidates who;

* Are self-motivated, driven and organised

* Have experience in HR administration or support roles

* Are customer focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills which build effective relationships

* Bring attention to detail with the ability to analyse and effectively harness HR data, while always considering the use of technology to ensure efficiency

* Are committed to high-quality service delivery

* Are confident in the use of Microsoft Office. Strong skills in Excel and SharePoint would be an advantage

* Creative approach to development of workforce resources, presentations and communication.
