Assistant Headteacher

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced Assistant Headteacher for one of our Birmingham, West Midlands (B37) based primary schools. If you are a primary experienced senior leader, who is available immediately and able to travel to Birmingham we would be keen to speak with you.

This primary school based Assistant Headteacher job is offered on a temporary, ongoing basis for a minimum of one term. The role will predominantly be working alongside the school’s current SENCO to assist with key duties and will also include some small group teaching sessions with KS2. Ideally the school are seeking someone Monday to Friday, however a shorter working week will also be considered. Your typical working pattern will be 8.30am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break. You will be supporting the current SENCO with whole school responsibilities, bringing a fresh perspective on processes and observing practices to give advice and guidance on supporting the pupils. Ideally, you will hold the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs (NPQ for SENCOs) however experienced candidates without the SENCO qualification will also be considered.

A relevant UK based teaching qualification.

Substantial experience working within a primary education setting.

All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Daily rate: £279.08 to £294.32 per day
