Assistant Head of Sixth Form – Immediate Start

Are you an experienced Sixth Form leader looking for an exciting new opportunity to make an immediate impact?
PK Education is recruiting an Assistant Head of Sixth Form to join a school based in East Birmingham for an immediate start.
The school serves a vibrant and diverse community and has excellent modern facilities and a strong commitment to helping every student achieve their academic and personal potential.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Sixth Form and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and development of Sixth Form provision, including:
Monitoring student progress, attendance and achievement
Providing outstanding pastoral support to Years 12 and 13
Identifying underperformance and implementing effective interventions
Supporting students with progression, UCAS and post-18 pathways
Working closely with parents, teaching staff and external organisations
Promoting high standards of behaviour, independence and aspiration
Supporting the continued development and success of the Sixth Form
Who are we looking for?
The school is ideally seeking somebody who has previous experience in an Assistant Head of Sixth Form, Sixth Form leadership or a closely comparable post and can confidently hit the ground running.
You’ll need excellent communication and organisational skills, strong pastoral experience and, above all, a genuine passion for helping Sixth Form students succeed.
